To celebrate summer in Manchester, Active English Academy would like to offer you our summer promotion:
This offer is available for courses starting on July 4th (accommodation on July 3rd) and ending on August 26th (accommodation on Augsut 27th).
Let us tell you a bit about the course: the 20 hour Advanced Business English Course includes 20 hours of Business English tailor-made to suit your language requirements and taught by teachers with a business background (banking, international, marketing, engineering etc.) Students learn English in small classes (average 4 students per class) and thus develop their skills extremely quickly with us.
Minimum level of English: Lower Intermediate.
The accommodation is in the Manchester’s Student Hall of Residence just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre and Active English Academy. All single rooms include an en-suite bathroom and desk. Students have access to a shared kitchen and lounge area where they can relax with their “roommates” and continue practising English. The Hall of Residence is very close to supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Wi-Fi access is available in the rooms.

Thursday May 12th: PORTFOLIO EXEC Networking Event
Between 5 and 7 a fantastic networking event courtesy of Portfolio Exec will be taking place at the Circle Club in Manchester (in Barton’s Arcade). Students at Active English Academy are welcome to attend the event where refreshments are provided. Active English Academy students can practise their Business English skills and talk to local business people and listen to company presentations from Manchester based businesses.
Tuesday May 10th: The Apprentice on BBC1 @ 9 pm
Active English Academy students’ favourite class time talking point is back on our screens: The Apprentice with the UK’s answer to Donald Trump, Lord Alan Sugar. Watch the programme on BBC1 and see business people get put through their paces, make some notes and prepare to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates and tasks on Wednesday morning with your fellow students and Active English Academy staff!
Sunday June 19th: Active English Academy @ Race for Life for Cancer Research
Active English Academy staff members will be taking part in the 10 km Race for Life in aid of one of the UK’s leading charities Cancer Research. Women only can take part in this event and it is for a great cause with any money raised going straight to Cancer Research.
