ABOUT THE PROGRAMMES


One-to-one intensive courses are ideal for those who need to improve their language skills quickly, have very specific requirements in terms of time available, specialised language needs or simply feel that group training is not suitable.

One-to-one tuition is also a great way to improve your skills quickly when taken in addition to group tuition.
It focuses on specific weaknesses and increases the overall level of confidence.

  • Work on writing, reading and listening skills
  • Focus on student’s personal needs and objectives

Programme Content


The emphasis is on improving confidence in speaking and listening in a range of everyday situations that the students face outside the classroom.
One-to-one courses are tailor-made to suit the learner’s particular requirements and needs. The programmes are personalised, intensive and flexible. Activities are practical and varied to ensure the student has every opportunity to participate and improve his or her skills.


Flexibility is the keyword for Intensive One-to-One Courses. We recommend a minimum of 15 hours with no maximum. To maximise the benefits of an intensive individual programme, we also recommend that learners are accompanied by their tutors for lunch.
One-to-one tutorials in the evenings and over the weekends are also available.
Many students choose to combine group tuition with one-to-one tutorials to get the most out of their stay with us.
You may also choose to take your individual tuition with one or two other colleagues, making a 2-to-1 or 3-to-1 course.

Course Facts:


ONE-TO-ONE INTENSIVE ENGLISH COURSE

Minimum age: 18 years old    
Average age: 28-30 years old (Summer: 24-25 years old)
Minimum entry level: From Beginner
Duration: From one week Every Monday
No of lessons:                       Minimum 15 hours per week with no maximum
Monday – Friday : 9:30-12:30 and from 1.30 every afternoon.     
               
Please note that Active English Academy will be closed on the following days:
In 2011: August 29th and from December 23rd 2011 to January 8th 2012 included.
In 2012: April 6th, April 9th, May 7th, June 4th, June 5th, August 27th and from December 22nd 2012 to January 6th 2013 included.
